T&R which stands for Tariro and Rutendo is a tag team of two sisters. Their mother being an avid crafter that can sew, crochet, knit,bake ,WITH REAL GREEN THUMBS, taught them how to make paper beads amongst other things. Hence it was only natural for Tariro to want to pass on the knowledge to her daughter hence T & R was born. Starting out by making beaded necklaces for friends and family which grew to a new found love for all things paper. With new discoveries of upcycling newspaper, magazines and cardboard boxes into new forms reusable art.

The paper is then treated with a non-toxic varnish stiffening and waterproofing the paper from unravelling protecting it from moisture and humidity

Newspaper Art ~ handmade also from rolled tubes of newspaper that are coiled and shaped into various designs like bowls, Frames, trays, serviette holders and coasters that�s just the beginning to the endless possibilities
Bags ~ our range of bags are made from cut off African and Shweshwe print material which is sewn into tote , cosmetic bags and our little ANYTHING bag.
