A happy and peaceful vibe goes through the market with many more traders back in the space and customers shopping their favourite products again.
With advanced lockdown level 3 in place all traders are allowed to trade in the market and it is wonderful to see and experience the spirit of small businesses operating and serving our customers.
Our restaurants offer a delicious and wholesome variety of take-aways and customers are allowed again to sit down and enjoy a meal under our beautiful trees in the tea garden. You can pick pizzas from La Cuisine du Jardin, Empanadas from Churrie Kings, banting options from The Keto Kitchen, vegan food from Leafy Greens, Indian street food from Meera's or a delicious piece of cake or quiche from Bettina's Cafe.... to name a few.
The market is open every Thursday from 9:30am to 1pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Get out of the house and visit your local market.

The ONLINE SHOP delivery and collection service keeps continuing and deliveries and collections take place on Fridays.
Our COVID-19 hygiene protocol
In accordance with Government lockdown stage 4 regulations and after consultation with the City of Johannesburg, we are required to enforce the following safety protocols:
a. We will only have one entry and exit point.
b. As is now the norm in supermarkets, we may only admit 50 customers at a time. Entrance remains free.
c. All customers, market staff and traders must wear masks or visors at all times. We may not admit anyone not wearing a mask.
d. All customers, market staff and traders have their temperature checked when entering the market.
e. Kindly sanitise your hands on entry and throughout the day. Soap for hand-washing will be available in the restrooms for your convenience.
f. Our market is well-known as a highly social space but in these very trying times we request that you complete your shopping timeously in order to allow the next line of shoppers to enter the market. Please limit your shopping party to a maximum of two people. No pets are allowed at this time, sorry!
g. Please maintain a safe distance from your fellow shoppers while shopping and if queuing.
h. PAYMENTS : Our preferred method of payment will be a credit or debit card or SnapScan. Our vendors will sanitise their card machines after each transaction.
