During Crafts Alive we have the privilege of seeing Peter at work each day at his potter’s wheel making beautiful pieces of ceramics from a lump of clay. Do come and see for yourself an art work emerge for the creative hands of a skilled craftsman. Peter loves to interact with whomever observes his work and he will tell you stories of his creations for rich and famous people.
Amongst his vast portfolio of commissions, is an 80-piece dinnerware set designed and manufactured in 2007 for a function hosted by past President Thabo Mbeki. The many pieces held in museums and private collections include, Gallerie II Venturio in Belgium, London Museum in the UK, Toronto Museum in Canada, Pretoria Art Museum, Johannesburg Art Gallery, University of Johannesburg.
