This Heritage Day, we’re celebrating with an Africa Day theme a joyful tribute to our culture, creativity, and community spirit! Come and experience a day full of colour, rhythm, and flavour at Bryanston Market: Art Demonstrations – watch talented artists bring their visions to life.
Kente Weaving – explore the beauty of traditional weaving techniques.
Live Entertainment – enjoy African music, dance, and performances.
Children’s Activities – fun-filled crafts and entertainment for the little ones.
Wholesome Food – indulge in mouthwatering meals and local flavours.
Unique Stalls & Crafts – discover handmade treasures and authentic African artistry.
Our theme for the day: Ubuntu – “I am because we are.” Let’s come together to honour our heritage, embrace our diversity, and celebrate the spirit of community. Innocent Mangenjenga, an accomplished stone sculptor, shares his artistic skills in stone crafting in allowing children to craft stone ornaments and pendants

The Toy Lady

The Toy Lady's stall is a firm favourite with our regular young visitors.   They enjoy the imaginative free play that the permanently set up train set and doll's house offers them

Play Area

Our natural and authentic play area offers a Candle Dipping station, Aerial Silk Trapeze, Spiderweb swing, Somersault Bar, Ropes and Ladders. Children enjoy this play area under the shady trees which allows them enough room for their own imagination and creativity.
Candle Dipping starts at R70.00 per candle
