Candlemaking

Create your own candle by dipping a candle wick into molten wax.

NJ helps at the Candlemaking stall in the main tea garden area.   His gentle guidance enables children to easily master the process and leave the market eagerly clutching their treasured creation. 

Enjoy some refreshments in the tea garden while watching your child being absorbed by the art of candlemaking.

Naledi Forge 21 July

Awarded a Master’s Degree in Sculpture by the  University of the Witwatersrand, Paola has trained and works with a team of highly skilled home-grown blacksmiths to create and produce high-end quality wrought iron custom-made products forged by fire and hammer.   Come and view her exhibition and portfolio of creations in the ancient art of smithing.   Custom made orders are welcomed.

Influx Team

Influx Music specializes in creating flawless musical ambiance for all special occassions, based in Johannesburg. Influx is a post modern and african Jazz band that provides from a duo to a 6 piece band, offering a unique and memorable musical experience. African Jazz is the root of South African music and is then fuzed into the latest top 40 hits and rearranging them into funky Jazz tunes. Influx Music has graced many festivals, Jazz clubs and stages. Their main aim is to preserve African culture and music through their own music.

Q2S is an in-house band, comprised of diverse session musicians that perform various tasks from jazz trios, full ensembles, and backing artists. They have worked with leading names in the music industry. The objective of the Q2S band is to supply clients with a variety of live repertoire that suit the needs of the clients target market. In the same token, the band fulfills the creative development of organic content.

Karly V


Karly was placed infront of a piano before she could walk, she then began songwritting at the age of 12, entertaining people at bars and markets across Joburg. When karly started performing all those years ago she could sing but she struggled to talk to the crowd. Now i can come back with quirky remarks, but its taken time. Karly has now released her first single after writing a number of songs over the years. Mark Beling and Karly produced a song together, on arrival at the studio Karly played on a good quality and expensive keyboard, started singing and added a verse she wrote in high school which now is being featured on a number of local radio stations nationwide.

Alongside her gemstone display table Crystal Geological offers children a gemstone scratch patch where they can explore for chips of sought after gemstones.

T-shirt painting

Select from a range of original design silk screened 100% cotton T-shirts.   Enjoy the absorbing pastime of bringing the graphic to life with vivid colour.   Water based fabric paint is set by heat and should be washed in cold water for best results.

T-shirt painting is offered by Violet Moon, an eclectic stall offering original design T-shirts, sheepskin slippers and uniquely designed and painted calabash ornaments.
