Colin Mead Photography
Colin Mead was born in Cardiff, Wales and lived in England until the age of ten when his missionary parents were sent to Africa. He worked in the money market in Johannesburg for 35 years where he developed a keen interest for photography, and for 14 years was chairman of the Johannesburg photographic society. Colin took early retirement in 1995 to follow his passion for photography on a full time basis. He has won many international awards as a fellow South African photographer. Travelling the world visiting Antartica three times as well as many other destinations, such as Uganda, Namibia, Tanzania and Botswana. Colin has been part of the Bryanston Organic & Natural Market for more than 30 years.
Products on offer are coffee table books, naked wilderness and wilderness heritage books. Images of the wild (with Howard Buffett) he produces framed and unframed prints, mousepads, coaster sets, postcards etc. Photography is taught and also has a safari sideline too.
