Quarter2Soul

Q2S is an in-house band, comprised of diverse session musicians that perform various tasks from jazz trios, full ensembles, and backing artists. They have worked with leading names in the music industry. The objective of the Q2S band is to supply clients with a variety of live repertoire that suit the needs of the clients target market. T-shirt painting

Select from a range of original design silk screened 100% cotton T-shirts.   Enjoy the absorbing pastime of bringing the graphic to life with vivid colour.   Water based fabric paint is set by heat and should be washed in cold water for best results.

T-shirt painting is offered by Violet Moon, an eclectic stall offering original design T-shirts, sheepskin slippers and uniquely designed and painted calabash ornaments.

The Toy Lady's stall is a firm favourite with our regular young visitors.   They enjoy the imaginative free play that the permanently set up train set and doll's house offers them

Richard of Classical Wooden Toys offers children the opportunity of glueing together a variety of wooden toys and then painting the toy to their liking.

Candlemaking

Create your own candle by dipping a candle wick into molten wax.

NJ helps at the Candlemaking stall in the main tea garden area.   His gentle guidance enables children to easily master the process and leave the market eagerly clutching their treasured creation. 

Enjoy some refreshments in the tea garden while watching your child being absorbed by the art of candlemaking.

Thandi of Chrystal Geological offers children the opportunity of collecting and creating their own fantasy world from a delightful collection of fairy gardens, castles, fairies and mystical creatures.  The activity is offered as a painting activity in the market, or to take away and do at home.  Pieces range from R30 upwards.

On the first Saturday of each month Lutmilla King and Frances Higgins present a children's puppet show at stall 115 (at entrance to the market) at 11am.   The puppet show costs R30 per child and is suitable for all ages.   The puppet shows are adaptations from original children's fairy tales, legends and stories.
